Ultrasound Therapy

Ultrasound Therapy

This modality is used to reduce inflammation and break up/reduce damaged frayed tissue in a particular area. Sound waves emitted from the sound head move towards damaged tissue at a frequency high enough to repair damaged frayed tissue fibers but not high enough to damage healthy tissue. It is best suited for superficial tissue  such as the achilles tendon, elbow tendon, and patellar tendon.
